Akwasi Appiah is Ghana Under-23 coach

Ghana’s Under-23 team will resume camping on Wednesday ahead of a crucial return leg against All Africa Games final round qualifier against Nigeria.

The Black Meteors must overturn a two goal deficit after suffering a 3-1 defeat to a star-studded Dream Team V.

The technical team has ruled out wholesale changes to the squad that impressed according to the head coach Akwasi Appiah.

Jordan Ayew, William Owusu Acheampong, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and David Addy have been recalled by their clubs.

They will be replaced by Sadick Adams, Abeiku Quansah, Malik Akowuah and petit attacker Latif Salifu.

Opoku Agyeman who missed the first leg due to injury has been recalled.

Pressure has mounted on the team to make amends after being bundled out of the 2012 London Olympic Games qualifiers in March by minnows Sudan.

The match will be play on 9 July.
