Luanda — Angola’s Home Affairs minister, Sebastião Martins, has rejoiced at the approval of the law against domestic violence, an instrument that will contribute to the reduction of the levels of this phenomenon.
The minister’s satisfaction was expressed during the festivities of the 32 years of existence of the Home Ministry, marked on Wednesday, under the theme “Firm in the consolidation of a peaceful and secure nation”.
In his opinion, the approval of the mentioned law provides a judicial framework that will contribute to the efforts of the Home Ministry and its integrant structures, mainly the Police, to reduce this phenomenon that worries the society.
Such juridical tool will enable the activity of the ministry and mainly of the Police to have another dimension, efficiency, efficacy and the success in the fight and reduction of this phenomenon.
