Galka’yo — A man, who was alleged of killing of his wife, on Sunday hang himself in prison in Galka’yo town in central Somalia.
Court in Somalia’s Puntland has in the past sentenced to death the man because he was found guilty of murdering his wife.
The attorney of Mudug region, Bashir Abdi told the local media that the incident took place in the jail today.
Abdi said that man was from the town of Jowhar in Middle Shabelle region in southern Somalia. He said that he will be buried in the town in the hours to come.
