Former President John Agyekum Kufour has described the reverting of the Jubilee House (supposed to serve as the official seat of government) to its old name, Flagstaff House as one born out of envy and hatred by the President John Evans Atta Mills led NDC.  In his first ever public interview on the matter with Adom News, the former President said it is sad that someone will give birth, give a name to the baby only for a successor to come and change the name of the child. The Golden Jubilee House, which was constructed by the Kufuor administration amidst criticisms from the then opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), now has Flagstaff House written on the wall adjacent TV3

Namibe — Over 150 million euros were released this year by the European Union (EU) to fund projects underway the country.

This was said to Angop on Monday by the EU ambassador to Angola, Javier Puyol in the south-west Namibe province.

The diplomat said that it is difficult to mention exactly the money allocated to each province, due the existence of inter-provincial projects, but he assured that the amount for Namibe province is higher in comparison to other provinces.

According to Javier Puyol, EU has been working in Namibe province for more than 20 years, funding projects in the sectors of fisheries, farming, health, education, water and environmental actions.
