‘Edmark Core Business Focus is Growing the Industry’

The General Manager, Edmark Nigeria, Mr. Maurice Etim has said that the company’s business strategic focus is to grow the industry rather than competing amongst individual competitions, a trend that is very common amongst several industry in the Nigerian market.

Etim, who made this disclosure during the company’s first International Convention in Nigeria tagged Edmark’s Annual Vision Casting and recognition last week at Adebola House, Opebi, Ikeja stated further that the company has used it platform to generate over 300,000 jobs for Nigerians nationwide.

“If you talk about employment on the basis of those we employ to pay salary that is very negligible to what we are doing. What we have actually done is to empower Nigerians. As I am talking to you we have empowered over 300,000 Nigerians and of course we have a daily average membership of 88 Nigerians registered every day in our Lagos, PH and Abuja branch. Of course we are opening in Onitsha and Kano within this year,” he affirmed.

He stated further that the vision of the company is to empower people and to give people opportunity to grow. According to the GM, Nigeria, “of course it is not just about money, we are talking about total well being, we teach people to love, we actually show love because love is the basic of everything and it is the highest form of energy that actually guarantee the success of everything, so in Edmark, we emphasis on love.”

Meanwhile, the President, Edmark International. Mr. Sam Low added, “There is no such thing in Nigeria as being lazy, what we have are those people who are not inspired, and this can be resolved by inspiring the people and show care and dedication and then also give a platform to show skills, where they will be able to realise their dreams.”

He noted that within two years of the establishment of the company in Nigeria, there had been about 200, 000 distributors whose stories have been turned from rags to riches, zero to heroes as they have been able to transform their inspiration to skills.

He said, “If you treat your customer well in their best interest, you will have a loyal customer.

He however, noted that the benefits of the establishment of the company in Nigeria were not just economical alone but also creation of wealth and health.

Low emphasised, “Everything needs to have volume; it took us 25 years to set up a factory in the Asia because we had to build up the volume.
