Luanda — The Presidents of Angola and East Timor discussed on Monday in Luanda aspects related to the strengthening of bilateral co-operation.
José Eduardo dos Santos and Ramos Horta met for an hour, in the framework of the official visit that Timorese statesman is paying to Angola.
At end of this meeting, representatives of the two delegations signed an accord in the fields of Defence and Social Communication.
In a press conference, the Angolan Head of State said that meeting was aimed at discussing issues related to bilateral field and assessing the international situation of common interests.
According to José Eduardo dos Santos, the meeting was also served to discuss oil as both countries produce and explore this product.
The President of Angola also said that they analysed the orevailing situation in Africa and UN reforms.
