The Bank Windhoek-sponsored annual SAGES Golf Day took place on June 11 at Gobabis. An incredible 70 plus golf players from across Namibia participated in this event that was held for the tenth time.
Players participating in the SAGES event have to be 50 years and older and prizes were donated amongst others by Bank Windhoek and Capricorn Asset Management (CAM). Furthermore, every participant received a meat hamper.
Ironically, the manager of Bank Windhoek’s Gobabis branch, Eli Nel, won the tenth edition of the tournament.
“The SAGES tournament brings together experienced veteran golfers from all over Namibia and although the competition is tough, players compete against each other in a very good spirit,” said Riaan van Rooyen, Head: Corporate Communication and Social Investment at Bank Windhoek.
