Rolando‘s representative Peppino Tirri has claimed that new Chelsea manager Andres Villas-Boas may be keen on luring some of his ex-Porto players to London.

And, the 25-year-old defender could be one of them, despite his agent Jose Silva claiming on Thursday that his client was happy in Portugal.

Tirri, who represents the Portuguese international in Italy, but is not his agent, told Calciomercatoweb.it: “It’s true that Villas-Boas could ask for some of his former players to join him at his new team Chelsea.”

Juventus and Roma have been linked with the centre-back who has a deal with Porto until 2015, but it seems neither club has opened dialogue.

“Nobody has called me and so there is nothing. Maybe the clubs are talking. Roma have not even called me,” he said.

Rolando was outstanding for Villas-Boas last season as he helped Porto scoop the league title, Portuguese Cup, and the Europa League.
