FOROYAA Newspaper (Serrekunda) Sulayman Bah 22 June 2011 Tijan Jaiteh chances of playing top flight football with Randers have faded after the Danish FA rejected the Club's appeal. Randers had their hopes of making a u-turn to the super league hanging on a spider web. The Danish side had hoped that the Denmark Football Union will consider their plea to strip points from opponent team, hom they accused of fielding an ineligible player but the FA had instead acted in the reverse condemning Tijan Jaiteh's Randers to the second division.

After helping Granada gain promotion to the Spanish La Liga , Odion Ighalo yesterday, stormed the national Under-23 camp in high spirit ahead of the first leg All Africa Games qualifying encounter against the Black Meteors of Ghana this Saturday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, Edo State.

“I am fired up for this game. I wished I was here for the Tanzania game but I followed the game under pressure in Spain. I promised Coach Austin Eguavoen that I would be here for the Ghana game. Now that am here I cannot wait to begin training with the team. We all know that Ghana are a difficult side and we are ready to give our best to get victory on Saturday”.

“I am ready to make up for that but I also pray that I have a good day, even if I do not score I pray my overall contribution will give the team victory on Saturday”, added Ighalo.

Also speaking, former Golden Eaglets forward, Chrisantus Macaulay, who arrived camp yesterday, said he was eager to get into the groove of playing for the national team.

“I am happy to be here. It’s been a while I have been in the national team and I cannot wait to give my

all to ensure that we over run our perennial rivals, Ghana”, said the Hamburg of Germany player.
