Federation Cup defending champions Kaduna United who kicked off the defence of the title they won last year successfully with a 1-0 victory over FC Lokoja in Abuja have said their ultimate goal is to retain the trophy.
Speaking after the game, chairman of the club, Hon. Sabo Babayaro said he is full of hopes that the team will successfully defend the title they won last year August in Kano” we have just started and thanks be to God we started off well. It’s always very difficult when you play against teams from the lower division in the Federation Cup. It’s is called Challenge Cup, but Insha Allah, we hope to successfully defend the trophy at the end.”
