Luanda — The Minister of Economy, Abraão Gourgel, considered on Tuesday in Luanda as important the micro, small and medium companies because they generate jobs, develop potentials and meet the need of the communities.

The minister said so to Angop on Tuesday, while addressing the presentation act of the Bill on the Micro, Small and Middle firms, during the first extraordinary session of the National Assembly.

He said that the model of the national entrepreneurship is very based on importing activities and is too informal, and thus contributing to a low rate of success.

However, Angolan government intends to have a greater participation of the Angolan businesspeople in the economic activity and proposed the approval of a bill that provides more protection and greater opportunities.

The Draft Law, which passed in generality, foresees a range of tax, financial, organisational incentives, as well as creation of skills to be developed by the government.
