Nikola Kalinic‘s agent has revealed that the striker wants to hold a meeting with manager Steve Kean to discuss whether or not he has a future at Blackburn Rovers.
The Croatian forward made only five starts in the Premier League since Kean succeeded Sam Allardyce as boss back in December last year.
Now the former Hajduk Split man’s representative, Tomislay Erceg, reckons that his client is seeking an audience with the boss, and claims that many other clubs would be interested in case his services are not required at Ewood Park.
“We want to talk to the coach as soon as possible so we know what happens next. Nikola Kalinic is contracted to Blackburn and so we will not talk about other clubs,” he said, according to The Mirror.
“There are a lot of clubs we believe who would want Niko. He needs to know if he is going to play for Blackburn first though.
“There is no problem with the club and if they want him to stay he will stay.”
