17 June 2011 Some Patriotic Front (PF) members of the central committee (MCC) have revealed that party leader Michael Sata's support for homosexuality has placed them in an awkward position because people everywhere are challenging them to state why Zambians should allow Mr Sata to rule them if his sole agenda is to promote harmful practices in the country. And the Livingstone Gospel Ministers Fellowship has called on the Church in Zambia to support a leader who will uphold Zambia as a Christian nation

Luena — At least 81 citizens that were in Zambia returned on Thursday to Angola’s Moxico Province, under the voluntary repatriation process organised by the government, ANGOP has learnt.

At the local airport, the Angolan refugees were received by the deputy minister of Welfare and Social Reintegration, Maria da Luz, who moved on the same day to Moxico to witness the start of the operation.

The first group that reached Lwena City was led to Sacassange transit centre were they are accommodated.

At the centre, the children will get a multipurpose vaccine, free registration, while the adults will get domestic utensils.
