The executive council of the Namibia Agricultural Union (NAU) has reminded farmers with two-way radios that they must re-apply for licenses.
This must be done before June 18, the NAU said in its latest newsletter.
The new licenses are necessary because the Communication Commission was dissolved and that the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (Cran) was appointed in its place.
The NAU said it will request an extension until end of 2011 for the re-registration of licenses of two-way radios.
For more information, contact Cran at 225 719 or 232 584 in Windhoek.
