In exercise of the powers conferred on the Independent Electoral Commission by Section 14 of the Elections Act, it was declared that the general registration of voters exercise will commence on Thursday 5th May 2011 and end on Friday 17th June 2011.
Consequently, those eligible Gambians who have not yet registered are encouraged to do so in the remaining one week.
