Scott Sinclair has reiterated that he would like to remain at Swansea City during the coming season.

The 22-year-old winger put in strong performances last season and scored 27 goals in 50 appearances, which greatly aided the Swans in their eventually successful push to achieve promotion to the Premier League.

Now the young midfielder insists that he would prefer to remain with the Welsh outfit, instead of making a move to a cub where regular football may be hard to come by.

“I don’t care if people start linking me to other clubs,” Sinclair said, according to The Daily Star.

“I am going to be playing with Swansea every week.

“I’m not going to go to another Premier League club and sit on the sidelines.”
