Inflation may go up to 18 percent by fourth quarter of this year due to poor food harvests as a result of inadequate rains according to CFC Stanbic Economic analysts. Currently the inflation rates are just below ten percent. The analysts have also revised projected growth to between 4.3 and 5% this year, attributed to inflationary pressure, high fuel prices and expected increase in political activities.
