21 Girls Vie for Miss Tabata Crown On Friday

    MISS Tabata 2011 will take place on Friday at Da’ West Park, Tabata in Dar es Salaam, where at least 21 contestants will vie for the crown and 1m/-.

    The co-ordinator of the contest, Joseph Kapinga, said first and second runners-up will pocket 500,000/- and 300,000/-, respectively. The fourth and fifth winners receive 200,000/- each. Other contestants who will appear in top ten will be awarded 100,000/- each.

    The rest will receive 50,000/- each. He said the event will be coloured by entertainment from African Stars “Twanga Pepeta.” He named the contestants as Marion Augustino (19), Neema Marwa (18), Catherine Julius (20), Lilian William (20), Godliver Mashamba (22) and Dorice Mutabingwa (21).

    Others are Sweetlily Suleiman (21), Maria John (21), Happyness Emmanuel (18), Cresensia Haule (20), Mariam Manyanya (21), Agustina Mshanga (20), Nasra Salim (21), Faiza Ally (19) and Edina Mnada (21).

    The list also has Angela Fortunatus (21), Lucia Joseph (20), Lilian Brayson (22), Rita Mvungi (21) and Willieth Wilson (22).

    Miss Tabata 2011 is sponsored by Dodoma Wine, Vodacom, Redds Original, Integrated Communications, Paris Pub, Fabak Fashion, Freditto Entertainment, Chicken Hut, Travel Partners, Ben Expedition, Screen Masters, Sean Entertainment, Michuzi blogspot, Anech Stationary and Vayle Springs.

    Miss Tanzania second runner-up Consolata Lukosi is the reigning Miss Tabata. Consolata also won Redd Ambassodar title. Miss Tabata is organized by Bob Entertainment and Keen Arts.
