UGHELLI — THE people of Owhelogbo in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, under the auspices of Ugo Club of Nigeria, yesterday, commended the state Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, for appointing one of their sons, Mr Ovuozorie Macaulay, as Secretary to the State Government.
The group in a statement by its president and secretary, Mr Samuel Akporehe and Mr Anthony Ughegbe respectively, congratulated Macaulay on his appointment.
Expressing the hope that he will bring his experience to bear on his new assignment as Secretary to the State Government, they described him as a worthy son of the Isoko nation.
The group urged Deltans to continue in their support for the Uduaghan-led administration, adding that the state can only developed in an atmosphere of mutual understanding amongst all stakeholders.
While commending Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for his landmark achievements in his first term in office, it expressed hope that he would build on his achievements in the second term.
