In the celebrations held in Oakland, Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside cities, the nationals reiterated readiness to strengthen the integrated national rebuff. Likewise, Eritrean citizens residing in Qatar celebrated the great Day in patriotic spirit in the presence of Foreign Minister Osman Saleh, and the Head of Political Affairs at the PFDJ, Mr. Yemane Gebreab, as well as a number of foreign friends of Eritrea and journalists

Asmara — Members of the NUEW branch in Germany lauded the development achievements registered in the Homeland which is a manifestation of the coordinated endeavors of the people and the Government.

In the course of a visit to the Northern Red Sea and Gash-Barka regions, the members numbering 85 expressed deep impression with the implementation of major development programs.

They stated that the visit is aimed at observing national development accomplishments and the newly built NUEW training center in Barentu. The members further explained that the tasks undertaken and the large-scale agricultural sites around Gerset, Fanko-Rawi and Fanko-Tsimue dams provided them moral boost to enhance contribution for the national cause.

They particularly expressed deep impression with the visit to Sawa and said that they found it to be beyond their expectation. The existing peaceful co-existence and mutual love in Sawa constitutes the reward of the Eritrean people’s bitter struggle. Noting that solid economic ground has been laid in the nation within a short period of time, the members commended the role being played by the national media outlets in properly highlighting the all-round development.
