26 May 2011 The Security Council has stressed that a planned consultative meeting of Somalia's leadership next month should result in agreement on a schedule for elections in the Horn of Africa country, where the interim federal institutions remain divided over governance issues beyond August when the transitional period expires. "The international community expects that at that their meeting there should be agreement on the timing of elections, roadmap and benchmarks for the way forward in the political process in Somalia," said Ambassador Mark Lyall Grant of the United Kingdom at a news conference yesterday in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, where members of the Security Council focused on the situation in Somalia. The consultative meeting is slated to take place in Mogadishu, the Somalia capital, between 11 and 16 June.

Benguela — The Angolan writer, Alexandre Silivondela will release on Saturday his second book entitled “Resgate de Valores Morais” in the auditorium of the Benguela branch broadcast station of the National Radio of Angola (RNA).
Speaking to Angop, the author said that the book is comprised by 98 pages and it portrays issues related to moral values.
According to him, the book is being sold at the price of AKZ 2000.
The launching act was attended by government officials, scholars, cultural agents, politicians and religious representatives.
Alexandre Silivondela Jamba was born on 28 March 1980.
