Khartoum — The Director of the Arab League’s Department of Environment, Housing and Sustainable Development, Dr Jamal-Eddin Jaballa, has appreciated the Qatari investments in Sudan.
He said that the Gulf investments in general and the Qatari investments in particular would guarantee food security for Arab World.
Dr Jamal-Eddin Jaballa gave the remark at a fringe of the meeting of a coordinating committee in charge of implementing plans approved by the Euro – Mediterranean Union in the areas of food security, agriculture, rural development at the Arab League’s headquarters.
He said that the meeting is preparing for Euro – Mediterranean ministerial meeting to deliberate about food security in the region.
