Two deprived villages in the north will be beneficiaries to a charity tour embarked upon by Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The 27-year-old will be commissioning bore-hole projects in the twin town of Hamile and Koro in Lambussie-Karni district in the Upper West Region.
The Real Madrid loanee is currently in his native Togo to begin the tour where he will be touching the lives of three communities namely; Sokode, Kpalime and Aneho, where he will be improving the educational infrastructure for the youth and also providing urgently needed medical supplies to the community dispensary.
These projects are funded from Adebayor’s personal resources and proceeds from a planned charity game in Togo involving his childhood friends.
The ex Arsenal star was recently part of another charity event where he joined up with other Africa and World football stars to play a peace match in Accra organised by Ghana midfielder Michael Essien.
