Wa, June 2, GNA – Ms Amina Karim, a 19 year old -girl had her two ears chopped off without being conscious of when and how it happened.
Ms Karim told the Ghana News Agency at her bed side that she felt some unusual warmness in her body and when she put her hand on her neck, she noticed it was wet.
She said she had an unusual experience that the main door to her house was opened and that was all she could recollect before the incident.
Mr Adams Ahmed, a student of University for Development Studies said Ms Karim was lying on the compound with her brother when he left to his room to sleep. He said at about 0200 hours, Ms Karim’s brother knocked on his door to inform him that his sister was not well and he rushed out to see her lying down unconscious. Mr Ahmed said when Ms Karim was being rushed to hospital blood was oozing out from the upper part of her ears. The Wa Police had started investigation into the case, which had generated public interest in Wa township. Meanwhile Amina is responding to treatment. 2 June 11
