The German-born midfielder was the star attraction during the Black Stars final training session ahead of their departure for Kumasi for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Ohene Djan Sport Stadium in Accra.
It was the first time the AC Milan player had trained with the Black Stars in Accra, since the 2010 World Cup where he emerged one of the revelations of the tournament.
Prince Boateng has never played on the soil of Ghana and the Congo game will be his first since his nationality switch last year.
Also present at the training were Jonathan Mensah and Prince Tagoe, who arrived together with Prince Boateng on Monday night.
Meanwhile, only France-based Andre Dede Ayew is yet to report with the officials insisting he is due to arrive on Wednesday due to certain circumstances in France.
The team is expected to leave for Kumasi on Wednesday morning.
The session was under the technical guidance of head coach Goran Stevanovic, who took time to rehearse his tactics ahead of Friday’s meeting with the Red Devils.
Striker Asamoah Gyan, unavailable for the clash due to suspension joined his colleagues midway through the session.
Players present at the training session included goalkeepers Richard Kingson, Sammy Adjei and Ernest Sowah, defender Samuel Inkoom, John Paintsil, Daniel Opare, David Addy, John Mensah, Lee Addy and Isaac Vorsah.
The rest are Anthony Annan, Michael Essien, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Kwadwo Asamoah, Derek Asamoah, Emmanuel Clottey, Dominic Adiyiah, Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan. Ghana beat Congo 3-0 in the first leg fixture in Brazzaville last March.
