Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has again confirmed that none of the club’s most valuable assets will be sold over the summer.
Despite failing to qualify for the lucrative Champions League, Redknapp is adamant that his star players will not be sold as he looks to take the club back into the top four.
“All of our key players are under contract,” he told reporters.
“The chairman and I have discussed this and we have no intention of selling any of them.
“They are at a top club and we are looking to improve the squad in the summer, not weaken it, in order to push for a Champions League place again next season.”
Redknapp’s comments come on the day playmaker Modric was linked with a move £25 million move to Premier League champions Manchester United following Paul Scholes’ retirement from football.
