Luanda — Three new health centres of reference will be unveiled on Thursday in Benfica and Ramiro commune in Samba district and Chimbicado locality in Kilamba Kiaxi municipality.
The infrastructures are part of the Public Investments Programme (PIP) of the Provincial Government of Luanda (GPL).
A source from GPL said so to Angop on Monday in Luanda.
The infrastructures include Municipal Hospital of Samba district and two maternal and infant centres, so as to increase the health coverage in these districts.
In addition, the source said that the hospital will have a capacity of 75 beds and it will be closer to the citizens of the districts of Samba and Kilamba Kiaxi.
The technicians, to work at these health units of reference, were already selected during assessment tests.
Angop learnt that the districts of Cacuaco, Sambizanga, Viana and Cazenga will also benefit from these investments.
