Asaba-THE three-man Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Asaba,  has granted an order, directing that the governorship candidate of the Democratic People’s Party, DPP, Chief Great Ogboru  to serve Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan with the petition through  substituted means, since it had became clear that reasonable efforts had been made to serve him same success.

The order was sequel to an ex-parte application  by Mr.  Nichols Jacob, counsel to Chief Ogboru and DPP seeking,  to serve Uduaghan served through substituted service.

Moving the application, weekend, Jacob prayed the tribunal to grant the order to enable his client serve the petition on Uduaghan through the Secretary or any other officer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP at its state  office headquarters located on Mariam Babangida Way, Asaba.

He argued,  “it has become practically impossible to personally serve the 1st respondent in spite of all efforts made by the bailiff.”
