Sunderland defender John Mensah wants to stay in the Premier League having ended his loan spell at the Stadium of Light.
The Ghanaian’s loan deal from Lyon has come to and end and he is not keen on returning to France. The 28-year-old has stated that clubs are already knocking on his door as the transfer season draws closer.
“I love English football, I love the pace and the atmosphere, so yes … I would love to stay in the Premiership and that is my first choice,” he said, according to KickOffGhana.
“But there are offers and hopefully I can settle on the best.”
