Luanda — The players to participate in the African Cup of Nations in Basketball (Afrobasket2011), to take place in Madagascar in August, will be summoned on Thursday.

This was said to Angop on Saturday by the technical director of the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB), Nuno Teixeira.

The federation official, who was speaking at the end of the 33rd edition of the national senior

males championship, explained that the players’ summoning will be announced in a press

conference.

The Angolan team will defend their African title in Madagascar, and thus qualify for the

London2012 Olympics Games in England and Pan-African Games in Maputo city in Mozambique.
