Luanda — The Angolan technicians will participate from 30 May to 3 June in a meeting on the diagnosis of swine fever in South Africa, aimed at creating a vaccine to fight against the referred disease, Angop has learnt.
This was said to Angop on Friday by the Angolan veterinarian Ditutala Simão.
He said that this diagnosis will be take place in a reference laboratory of South Africa.
The initiative is promoted by the European Union (EU) and South African authorities for the holding of researches, studies, essays and tests.
Wako Kungo Municipality in the central Kwanza-Sul province is facing a swine fever, since this month, which has already killed at least 2,000 pigs.
