Urr — Ahead of the forthcoming November 24th Presidential Election, the National Assembly member for Jimara Constituency has predicted that the APRC under the leadership of the Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh will get 95% of the votes.

Honourable Mama Kandeh made these remarks recently in Sare Kokeh in Jimara , Upper River Region when the women of the district came together to adopt their APRC district women mobiliser, Aja Jabou Jawo of Demba Kunda as mother.

He categorically stated that President Jammeh has already won Jimara , and that there is no room for the opposition in his constituency. He described the Gambian leader as a man of peace who unites people and develops the country. “The APRC has ever been winning Jimara seats, therefore the opposition is not a threat to us,” he said.

Hon. Kandeh called on his people to go and get registered in order to vote massively for the party that has continued to register tremendous developments in the country and Jimara in particular. He also thanked the women of Jimara for adopting Aja Jabou Jawo as their mother, and advised the adopted mother not to let the women down. He then urged the women to further strengthen their loyalty to the APRC and President Jammeh.

For her part, Aja Jabou Jawo, adopted mother who is also the Jimara APRC women mobiliser, thanked the women for adopting her as mother. She assured of her continuous collaboration with the women for the development of the country. She finally thanked Hon. Kandeh for supporting the women of the region and assured of their continuous loyalty to President Jammeh and the APRC.
