Khartoum — The Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS) has approved a request by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank to open a branch in SudanA meeting held Wednesday between CBOS Governor Dr. Mohamed Khair Al-Zubair and a United Arab Emirates (UAE) delegation led by the UAE Ambassador in Khartoum and membership of the leaderships of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, came out with a deal between the two parties to start establishment of a branch for Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in Sudan.
The bank is a privately owned enterprise based in the United Arab EmiratesIt is to be recalled that Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank has investments in Sudan exceeding 400 million dollars and it is expected that their volume will be multiplied upon establishment of a branch for the bank in Sudan.
