She was pictured leaving The Box with extremely plump lips earlier this year, sparking rumours she had indulged in a spot of cosmetic enhancement ahead of her wedding.

But after months of keeping quiet Sarah Harding,29, has finally admitted that she did have lip fillers but has revealed she regrets tampering with her looks.

The Girls Aloud singer turned actress has opened up about her views on cosmetic surgery and while she had admitted plumping her lips she denies having botox, despite sporting a wrinkle-free forehead.

In an interview in Fabulous magazine Sarah spoke about the lip injections she had done and said: ‘It’s not something I’m going to be trying again, or anything I would recommend to anyone else. But, yeah, around Christmas I got a little bit experimental and decided to have some filler in my lips. Clearly that was a mistake.’

She also told the magazine: ‘I was silly, it was a very silly thing to do.’

Harding, who is engaged to DJ Tom Crane,31, revealed that she had a bad reaction to the filler which made her lips look larger but said: ‘Thankfully they have gone back down now.’

Sarah underwent the procedure to try and stop the ageing process, something she admits she has concerns over as she approaches her 30s.

She told Fabulous: ‘It was a case of approaching my 30s and not feeling confident about that.’

‘It was something that was on my mind a lot.’

But while the singer, who had corrective surgery on her nose after breaking before finding fame in the girl band, admits to lip fillers she denies Botox and told the magazine: ‘No Botox, thank you very much.’

In fact, Sarah puts her wrinkle-free forehead down to regular Carita non-surgical facelifts performed at Champneys spas which cost £120 a time, and to regular micro-dermabrasion sessions as well as collagen wave facials.

The interview also revealed that despite having one of the best bodies in the business Sarah isn’t entirely comfortable in her own skin.

Speaking about her size eight figure she said: ‘I’m getting there. I’m working out with an amazing trainer and feel so strong and healthy at the moment.’

While Sarah is busy planning her nuptials – although she is quick to rule at speculation that she has decided on a wedding venue – she is also preparing for her next project hosting Sky Living’s Dating in the Dark TV show which will air later this month.

The UK’s most successful ever girl group Girls Aloud, who formed on ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, are set to make their comeback at next year’s Olympics, but Sarah isn’t giving anything away.

She said: ‘It would be nice and appropriate to do something next year. That’s all I can say for now.’

But addressing rumours the girls will return as a four-piece after apparent falling out between Nadine Coyle with the other girls in the band Sarah insisted that any reunion would be the girl group as a whole.
