    It’s Bata Labour Day Special! Bata Shoe Company Zambia has a variety of footwear for on display targeting participants in this year’s Labour Day celebrations which will be held next week.

    The prices for men’s shoes range from K279, 900 to K319,900 per pair while those for women are from K69,000 a pair going up at all Bata stores countrywide.

    The Bata outlets have also stocked shoes for school-going children at reasonable prices, afterall schools open soon.

    The new Zamtel mobile phones handsets are attracting a lot of customers due to the reasonable prices.

    A visit to some of the outlets for the mobile services provider by Talking Shop showed that the handsets are fast-selling because of the reasonable prices and the quality of the gadgets.

    A Nokia 1280 with a Simcard and K5000 worth of talk-time is going at K130, 000, Nokia 1800 at K175, 000 while the double sim card Nokia C1-00 is K185,000.

    Talking Shop wishes to urge entrepreneurs in Livingstone to set up better restaurants at Maramba market to attract as many people as possible because the current ones leave much to be desired.

    Some customers have complained that they canít find better food outlets around Maramba Market which is located a few kilometres from the city centre.

    Without better outlets in the market, the place may not be conducive for business.
