Eastern region police identify 275 flashpoints; assures violence free elections
Police in the Eastern region have said adequate measures have been put in place to deal with any potential threat that could impact negatively on the electoral process in December.
Security officers in the region earlier this week revealed that they had identified 275 areas they consider flashpoints.
They are, however, confident of handling the situation to prevent it from escalating.
DCOP Kwabena Gyamera-Yeboah, Eastern Regional Police Commander told Joy News they have patrol teams dedicated to those flash points and will swiftly move in should there be any eventuality.
